INTERNATIONAL COUNCIL OF JEWISH WAR VETERANS
Wrld001.wmf (17078 bytes) Formed in 1976 The International Council of Jewish War Veterans assembles in Jerusalem every 3 or 4 years, as well as meeting in mini conferences at various centres during the year.
Its objects are as follows:

¨ To promote contacts and relations between Jewish War Veterans throughout the world.

¨ To act as a group against Anti-Semitism wherever it appears, encouraging local veteran organisations to take action in its own country.

¨ To encourage comrades, their families and friends to visit Israel.

¨ To maintain contact with other Veteran Organisations.

¨ To support the Jewish War Veterans Information Centre (Library and Archives) at the Jewish War Veterans Remembrance Monument in Jerusalem, by enriching it with literature and information about Jewish Military service past and present.

¨ To hold periodical meetings of the Council for the exchange of information and co-operation.

¨ To organise International assemblies in Jerusalem.
